Perhaps best defined by the famous Table Mountain, the beauty of the Western Cape region is diverse and absolutely inspiring. The mountains, fynbos vegetation, diverse wildlife, rugged coastline and white beaches, unspoiled countryside, and our beautiful people are unique.

The Western Cape coast hosts one of the world's best whale watching posts, with Southern Right, Humpback and Bryde's Whales often spotted from viewing points or open sea trips. The main whale watching season is from July to November. Heavyside, Common and Bottle Nose Dolphins and Seals also roam the Cape oceans in large numbers.
